Japan Master Files Database Help

At present, the Japan Master Files Database contains data for a total of 1,647 MF arranged within parameters as shown below (in bold are the proprietary details of the registered MF, including those which are "delisted":

 

 
  • 1. Consecutive JM File number - at present from 1 to 2,296
    2. Registration number
    3. Registration date
    4. Registration update
    5. Registrant name
    6. Alternative name
    7. Registrant address
    8. Registration item
    9. Registration classification
    10. Status
    11. JAD ID Number     - internal references of JAD Databases containing the JAD Identification Number – unique for each compound or product in the JAD Databases
    12. Remarks - such as JAD_E_XXX reference, etc.

Abbreviations and conventions:

  • JP - Japanese Pharmacopoeia, currently in the Fifteenth Edition, JPXV
  • EUM - "Exclusive Use for Manufacturing"
  • [Sanyo] - as an example is shown the products having the name of manufacturer in brackets after the product name in order to distinguish from other generic products
  • Delisted - products either withdrawn or revoked; the original Registration Number is included for completeness
  • Undisclosed - denotes parts or whole of the registration data not made available to the public.
  • JAD_E_XXX  - JAD Entity Number - and identification number for manufacturers included in the JAD Databases (corresponds to a separate database)
